The EdgeVis Encoder SDK is split up into various components with grouped functionality. The available components in this release are:

Encoder Component	The Encoder Component is central to the entire SDK and provides the base level services necessary for the other components to operate
Archive Capability	The EdgeVis Encoder SDK is capable of recording standards based video into the Digital Barriers CSX file standard
Encoder Settings & profiles	Certain Encoder settings can be obtained and modified through viewer applications using the SDK
